2007 Accomplishments

*Donated over 300 hours to public schools throughout the Lake Country area.

*Alumni are studying and teaching dance in other countries such as Australia, France and Thailand.

*70% of our upper level technique students pursue dance related studies and careers.

*$6000 worth of work study scholarships to students.

*A true performing arts academy, dance theatre, voice, boutique gymnastics.

*Performances include such venues as the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts, Nixon Park and many local events.

*First dance studio and boutique to offer a Rewards Program.

*Private coaching benefiting Special Olympians.

*Star of “So You Think You Can Dance” and TTP friend, Cedric Gardner taught master classes in October 2007, attended by over 125 dancers.

*Samantha Juhn was awarded a full scholarship by Cedric to Monsters of Hip-Hop Workshop in Chicago.

*Invited to perform with the Waukesha Symphony for “A Soldier’s Tale” this coming winter.

*Performed excerpts from The Nutcracker at the Celebration of the Arts hosted by the Arts Alliance of Waukesha County.

*Lori Heckel taught dance to city of Milwaukee youth at the Tyme Out Center in Stone Bank.

*Working with the Hartland/Lakeside District to integrate dance and movement into the schools.

*Staff members have recently performed.  Jim Beasley starred in Ha with In Tandem Theatre and Jeremy Nickolai was Perchik in Patio Players production of Fiddler on the Roof.

*Staff serves on the board of Dance Masters of Wisconsin and Summer Stage of Delafield and has been nominated to the Hartland Chamber Board of Directors.

*Invited to represent the Lake Country at the Orange Bowl in January 2008.  The director, Nina Gaydos-Fedak, dancers and six parents will be traveling to the event where they will work with Shane Sparks of "So You Think You Can Dance".

*The training we offer, which focuses on ballet and other classic styles, provides well-rounded and successful dancers and performers.

*Coaching and choreography for two young ladies who successfully competed in Miss Teen USA, Wisconsin Jr. Miss, and Miss Wisconsin.

*Membership to the following organizations:  Arts Alliance of Waukesha County, Cultural Alliance of Greater Milwaukee, Dance Masters of Wisconsin, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Wisconsin Dance Council, Hartland and Delafield Chambers of Commerce, Summer Stage of Delafield.
